The Senior Accountant ensures accurate financial records through verification, reconciliation, and reporting. The role analyzes financial data, identifies discrepancies, and recommends process improvements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with VAS and tax regulations, and contributing to IFRS conversion. The Senior Accountant also provides guidance to the team and helps strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
Nhiệm vụ chính
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce accurate, error-free accounting reports and present findings.
- Analyze financial information and summarize the company’s financial status.
- Identify discrepancies and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.
- Provide technical support and accounting guidance to team members.
- Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and the forecasting process.
- Provide input into the department’s goal-setting activities.
- Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Assist with tax audits and work with external auditors.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Support the conversion of financial statements from VAS to IFRS and assist with IFRS-based consolidation.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Participate in billing activities and issuing invoices to customers.
- Ensure the company complies with VAS and Vietnam tax regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company business information and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Trình Độ Và Kinh Nghiệm
Trình độ
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese tax regulations, VAS, and IFRS.
- Experience converting financial statements from VAS to IFRS is a plus.
- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS is a plus.
- Good English skills (written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as MISA, QuickBooks, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (negotiation, conflict resolution, presentation).
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, levels, and cultures.
- Professional, energetic, high-integrity, team-oriented, with a strong can-do attitude and willingness to share knowledge.
- Patient and able to manage work pressure effectively.
Kinh nghiệm
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior accountant role.
