ACB Securities (ACBS) has officially launched SMARTY, a Generative AI–powered investment analysis assistant, on its ACBS SMART trading application. Leveraging the power of Amazon Bedrock from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Claude 3.7 large language model from Anthropic, SMARTY integrates seamlessly with ACBS’s systems, APIs, and high-quality data sources. This enables the AI assistant to deliver in-depth analysis enriched by the expertise and insights of ACBS’s team of analysts and advisors.

By 2025, the term Generative AI (GenAI) has become familiar worldwide. Vietnam, notably, ranks 6th among 40 countries in terms of AI openness, with a score of 59.2 out of 100—outperforming many developed nations. This ranking reflects Vietnam’s readiness to embrace opportunities in the AI era (Source: VnExpress).

Despite this openness, only a limited number of industries in Vietnam have adopted AI to create real value for customers. GenAI, however, is changing that, moving beyond potential into practical application—particularly in the financial and securities sector. Where once market data analysis, valuation modeling, and stock recommendations relied heavily on human expertise, GenAI now empowers investors to make informed decisions using vast, dynamic datasets.

With strengths in financial data, strong capital resources, and IT infrastructure, ACBS has just launched the AI-powered investment analysis assistant SMARTY on its trading app. This is a truly breakthrough technology that increases value for the active investor group (i.e., investors who trade independently without brokers).

Previously, when searching for any stock, investors had to read a large amount of information displayed on screen. Now, when looking up a stock symbol, investors can simply choose “Analyze stock ABC with SMARTY”. Using ACBS’s available data, the AI assistant provides analysis on P/E, ROE, non-performing loan ratios (if any), outlook, and buy/sell recommendations. The added value here is that this GenAI-powered analysis is fully integrated into the trading app and completely free to experience. Investors only need a securities account and to log into the ACBS SMART trading app to use AI SMARTY as their daily trading assistant.
