OVERVIEW
From the very beginning, the company’s nutritional products have been impressive on the market with quality, formulas, and ingredients equivalent to imported products. Nutifood Group’s original products include 3 groups: nutritional food powder, nutritional milk powder and high energy nutritional food.
KEY CHALLENGES
Nutifood Group’s IT team was looking for gaining hands-on experience and guidance on better utilize the data that the business collects. Renova Cloud, and advanced AWS partner, was chosen to support Nutifood Group on Data Lake on AWS. Renova Cloud set up a free full-day on-site Immersion Day experience that introduces users to AWS tools and resources. It was prepared to expand Nutifood Group’s knowledge of AWS, roll up their sleeves, and explore these technologies through a variety of talk topics and hands-on lab sessions. The intended outcome of the session was to be able to realize the business benefits with AWS solutions, and more specifically how Nutifood Group can best leverage Data Lake on AWS platform.
The goal of this educational workshop was to empower Nutifood Group’s IT team and leadership to confidently use the AWS platform for their benefit, and unlock new business opportunities. The sessions agenda was designed to generate knowledge, comfort and excitement in preparation for the next stages of Nutifood Group’s AWS Cloud journey.
Solution Engineers from Renova were present to help Nutifood Group better understand how to adopt methodologies and technologies to address business challenges. Two Renova Cloud’s Solutions Architects covered a range of topics, interspersed with real-life demos and labs where the audience could get hands-on with services in a sandbox account provisioned by AWS. The overall cycle of Data Lake was covered, including the overview, data ingestion, cataloging and organizing the data, consuming and reporting as well as data visualization and various automation options.
These sessions were interactive in nature, giving Nutifood Group’s team of 18 members an opportunity to ask questions and engage with our Solutions Architects throughout the day.

Immersion Days included hands-on labs based on common, real-life scenarios, allowing Nutifood Group’s team to experiment and experience AWS tools and workflows. Knowledge based on hands-on experience usually outlasts that of conventional presentations. - Chat with experts
Our team of experts were available during and after the Immersion Day do to answers all open questions and to give individual advice. We also had a recap with Nutifood Group a few weeks after the event to get feedback and discuss their topics of interest further.

At end of the immersion day, Nutifood Group’s IT and business team had the opportunity to:

– Understand why data and analytics is becoming more and more important, and how data paired with the right technology can help the company deliver a personalised customer experience to add value
– Gain insights as to how Nutifood Group might start leveraging other AWS services to enrich and differentiate the CX delivered to customers.
The AWS Immersion Day was a great opportunity for Nutifood Group’s IT and business team to get an in-depth experience of AWS solutions and receive expert guidance from experienced solutions architects. Delving into the world of data lakes and analytics, this was a chance for N Group’s developers to ask questions and establish what actions to take with their big data and reporting strategy. This is of utmost importance as N Group’s is currently focused on giving customers the insights they need to provide return on investment (ROI) of learning interventions.
Renova Cloud collected the feedback from Nutifood Group using a standardized CSAT survey developed by AWS for this purpose. The overall feedback was overwhelmingly positive, resulting in CSAT score 4.73 and good session scores, in particular for the hands-on labs receiving praise from the customer.
