2026: The Midnight Echo of a Student
A Message from Doron Shachar, Founder & CEO, Renova Cloud
It’s 1:00 AM here in Ho Chi Minh City. Listening to Bob Dylan’s track on his “Desire” 50th-anniversary album opened the door to his world when I was a youth. This is how I spend my time these days – not just running a company, but being a Student.
I have to challenge myself with the latest technology and the mindset of this AI revolution. It truly doesn’t care about your resume; it only cares about your curiosity and your ability to dive into new learning methodologies. People call me “The Sponge” because I am obsessed with absorbing the logic of this era – the documentation, the failures, and the breakthroughs.
Whether you think the AI race is a boom or a bubble (which I believe is not), the entire Earth is caught up in the trend of packing AI into every aspect of our lives. Right now, I’m deep into the documentation for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, building my own applications using LangChain, and testing the same “90 minutes of pain” we put our customers through.
2026 doesn’t feel like the future anymore; it feels like the Great Integration. The “shiny object” phase of Generative AI has passed. The rush of companies stuffing chatbots into everything has led to a “plateau of sameness.” When every product offers similar features, it becomes harder to differentiate them.
Marc Andreessen famously said, “Software is eating the world.” Today, AI is eating the software world. The winners won’t be the ones with the best AI, but the ones who figure out the best way to deploy it into real business workflows.
We’ve moved beyond the “vibe” and into Agentic Reality. We see a world where the language barrier has finally crumbled, where a Korean manufacturer and a Vietnamese engineer can speak in real-time as if they grew up on the same street. It’s a world where AWS has evolved from a cloud provider into an entirely agnostic orchestration engine, allowing us to build “AI Factories” with a level of precision we only dreamed of two years ago.
But with this speed comes a new kind of responsibility. We’ve seen that AI can inherit our anxieties and biases. With cybercrime hitting a $15 trillion peak, the “human” element is more vulnerable than ever. This is why Renova Cloud chose to be born in the cloud and stay there.
Every company must evolve, and so must the team. My phrase for this year is
“Think as a hacker “means clearly that we should act and create new methodologies.
The market is now divided into two categories:
- Those who are born & develop with AI to build value and differentiation.
- Those who see AI as a threat and struggle to change their operating model.
We are building the methodology to lead our customers through migration, DevOps, and agentic shifts, not as distant consultants, but as partners who are breathing the same air and solving the same midnight bugs.
Looking ahead, I feel total clarity. 2026 is the year we stop asking “what can AI do?” and start asking “where does it hurt, and how can we make it faster and better?” We are no longer just building data lakes; we are building the nervous systems for businesses that will run autonomously by the end of this decade. Whether it’s the rise of agentic commerce or the quiet anticipation of AGI, the fundamental truth remains: Success belongs to those who stay curious enough to keep learning when the rest of the world is asleep.
We are building this future brick by brick. I’m proud that Renova is at the forefront, not just as a partner, but as an architect of this new reality.
As the music fades and I get back to my notes, remember: the times aren’t just changing – they’ve already changed. Let’s make sure we’re a part of it.
