Amid this weekend\u2019s\u00a0flurry of developments\u00a0related to Google\u2019s messaging future around \u2018classic\u2019 Hangouts, as well as\u00a0Hangouts Chat and Meet, Google Voice was left out. The latter was launched for G Suite enterprise in beta last July 2018, and should be entering \u201cGeneral Availability\u201d this coming March 2019. At Cloud Next 2018 in July, Google announced that\u00a0a new enterprise tier of Google Voice\u00a0would be joining G Suite. It comes as the VOIP service was\u00a0relaunched in early 2017\u00a0after years of minor updates:<\/strong><\/p>\n
